Liverpool are keeping tabs on Leeds United loanee Ben White.
The 22-year-old joined the Whites on loan from Brighton and Hove Albion over the summer and is now on the radar of the European champions, according to a report by Football Insider.
White has impressed for Leeds so far this season and has blossomed under Marcelo Bielsa’s guidance.
Liverpool are in the hunt for a long-term centre-back option and White could fit the bill for Jurgen Klopp’s side due to his defensive capabilities and compatibility of playing out from the back.
He started his career in the academy at Southampton before he was released when he was 16 years-old. He subsequently joined Brighton and played for their youth sides.
White was handed his Seagulls first team debut in August 2016 in an League Cup fixture tie against Colchester United and played once more for the Albion.
He was loaned out to Newport County for the 2017/18 season to gain some more senior experience and made 52 appearances in all competitions for the League Two side.
White then spent some time on loan in the third tier at Peterborough United in the last campaign and played 16 times for the Posh.
Leeds fans may not have known much about him before he signed over the summer but he has firmly established himself in their starting eleven. He won the Championship Player of the Month for August and is already catching the eye of some Premier League giants in Liverpool.
