AFC Wimbledon striker Matty Stevens has signed a new two-year contract with the League Two club.
The 27-year-old has scored 21 goals in his first season for the club since joining from Forest Green Rovers in the summer and has been rewarded for his fine form with a contract extension until 2027.
The Wombles are fifth in the table, four points off an automatic promotion spot, and play Doncaster Rovers in the place immediately above them on Saturday (12:30 BST).
"I'm over the moon. I've always said since I got here that I've really enjoyed it and I think this extension underlines that," he told the club's website, external.
"The main thing now is to focus on matters on the pitch. Myself and my family are delighted to get this agreement done.
"The fans, staff and players have made me feel so comfortable here – they all played a big role in my decision. Now we have to come together to get us over the line and back into League One."
Stevens scored on his Dons debut in a 4-2 win against Colchester United.
He hit a hat-trick against bottom-of-the-table Carlisle United in October before going on a run of scoring in four consecutive games in November and December.
